Project Two - Interior And Exterior Space
The negative space for the Villa Savoye was mapped out by tracing the exterior space for each floor on to a plan. The ground floor was coloured in dark green, the first floor was coloured in a mid green and the solarium coloured in a light green. The floors were superimposed over each other from the ground upwards. A negative space 3d model was then constructed using a semi transparent material to reflect the exterior space as not being solid. The space was then encased in the skin of the Villa Savoye.
